Tempe Human Services HOPE
Provides support to people experiencing homelessness in Tempe. Services include outreach and engagement, and connection to resources for mental health, substance abuse, and immediate hygiene needs. Also provides coordinated entry access for housing assessments and to screen for additional services.
Tempe Housing Services Home Repair and Rehabilitation
Offers grants and loans for Tempe homeowners with low incomes to repair and rehabilitate their homes including making accessibility modifications.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore - Tempe
Sells donated building materials and household goods to the general public.
UMOM Youth Resource Center and Street Outreach Engagement Team
Provides supportive services for young adults ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness. Services include food, water, showers, hygiene and personal care items, and clothing. Also offers case management, housing navigation, and coordinated entry into housing programs.
Urban Outreach, a program of the Tempe First United Methodist
Provides showers, clothing, and a hot meal for people experiencing homelessness.
The Salvation Army Tempe Corps
Provides emergency assistance for families in need including food boxes and other emergency needs. Provides information about and referrals to other community resources.
I-HELP Shelter Program - Tempe
Provides emergency shelter for men and women. Services include overnight lodging, evening meals, case management, employment assistance, benefits enrollment, and housing navigation services. Also provides Shower Power mobile shower program.
Oasis Drop-In Center
Provides a drop-in day shelter for people experiencing homelessness. Services include computer and phone stations, mail access, emergency food bags, water and heat relief, financial coaching, laundry facilities, employment assistance, workshops, identification documents, and intake for I-HELP shelter. Also offers enrollment assistance for AHCCCS, SNAP, and veteran's benefits.
Guadalupe Community Action Program
Provides information to Guadalupe residents about available social services. Provides case management and emergency food boxes for Guadalupe residents with low incomes.
Newtown Community Development Corporation
Provides first time homebuyer workshops, assistance, online education, and Individual Development Accounts (IDA). Offers affordable homeownership opportunities in Chandler and Tempe.
